Biomassa CHP’s
ST-1.0BiomassChp – A New Standard in Sustainable Energy
The ST-1.0BiomassChp is a highly innovative, complete, and sustainable energy system designed to make users fully autonomous in their production of electricity, heating, and hot water. This advanced micro-cogeneration unit (micro-CHP) is ideal for domestic use and small industrial facilities, offering a reliable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional energy sources.
At the core of its operation is pyrolytic gasification, a cutting-edge thermochemical process that extracts a mixture of combustible gases from dry biomass. By using biomass pellets—often derived from agricultural, livestock, or industrial waste—the ST-1.0BiomassChp provides both electrical energy (up to 24 kWh/day) and thermal energy (up to 160 kWh/day) with very low CO₂ and particulate emissions.
One of its key environmental contributions is the production of biochar, a carbon-rich byproduct that can be used as an effective soil improver. For every kilogram of biomass processed, the unit sequesters 100g of carbon and reduces CO₂ emissions by 300g compared to direct combustion. Additionally, it boasts PM10 emissions of less than 0.9 g/GJ, ensuring minimal impact on air quality.

Main Features
and Advantages
-
High automation with start/stop functionality based on external energy demands
-
Flexible input types, tolerating a wide range of biomass—even those unsuitable for traditional biomass boilers
-
Accurate combustion control to reduce exhaust emissions
-
Simple design with fewer components, ensuring easy installation and low maintenance
-
Compatible with both off-grid and grid-connected systems
-
Remote control capabilities for user convenience
Significant
Cost Savings
In addition to its environmental and energy benefits, the ST-1.0BiomassChp offers substantial cost savings on electrical and thermal energy:
-
-
46% savings compared to methane supply
-
73% savings compared to LPG supply
-
81% savings compared to oil supply
-
With its low environmental impact, energy independence, and remarkable cost-efficiency, the ST-1.0BiomassChp sets a new benchmark for sustainable energy at the local level.
